DESCRIPTION:Puppy guardians! Looking for a safe and fun venue to socialize your new best friend? Join the training staff and fellow new puppy parents at Pasadena Humane’s Puppy Playschool. This ongoing workshop welcomes vaccinated puppies who are over 8 weeks or under 16 weeks of age. Your puppy will be gently exposed to novel sights & sounds and our small sized playgroups are thoughtfully designed to help build your puppy’s confidence gradually. Skilled trainers and volunteers educated in dog body language will be on hand to guide you and your pup to learn about healthy play & positive training building blocks.   \n\nMust have one adult pet parent present\nPuppies must be up to date on vaccines appropriate for their age \n$25 per session \nYour puppy must be current on vaccines appropriate for their age including Bordetella\, Canine Distemper and Parainfluenza (DAPP)

SUMMARY:Pre-Teen Pups
DESCRIPTION:They grow up so fast! Got a pup who thinks they’re too cool for school? We’ve got you covered. ‘Tween pups between 4-6 months of age are welcome to attend this 3 week mini-course. Pet parents will learn how to navigate through frustration & boredom behaviors such as jumping\, barking\, & mouthing. We’ll teach your ‘tween to relax while you learn motivating training building blocks that will carry you through adolescence and beyond! \n\nDogs must be between 4-6 months of age at start of class date\nLimit 8 dogs per session\nDogs must have one adult pet parent present\nDogs must be wearing a collar or harness and leash\nPlease bring at least two cups of your pup’s favorite treats\n$120 for 3 week course\nYour dog must be free from signs of illness (coughing\, nasal discharge\, vomiting\, diarrhea) to attend classes.\nIf your dog is exhibiting signs of illness including coughing\, you will be asked to exit the class\nYour dog must have completed all vaccines including Rabies\, Bordetella\, Canine Distemper and Parainfluenza (DAPP)\nWe highly recommend your puppy receive the Canine Influenza Vaccine. Please check with your personal veterinarian for guidance.

During this hour-long tour\, you’ll hear about our history\, programs\, and services while viewing adorable dogs\, cats and critters looking for new homes. The tour will start at the Animal Resource Center. We’ll then travel through the Neely Cat Center and dog kennels learning more about the animals in our care. The tour will end at the Shelter Shop. \nTours are appropriate for all ages and limited to 15 guests.

Get up-to-date behavior advice for your 8-14 week old kittens from a Certified Cat Behavior Counselor. Safely socialize your pet with other kittens and new people in a clean\, managed environment. Our cat training “purrfessors” will cover topics including litter box habits\, mouthing\, scratching\, harness training\, & much more! Kindergarten is not appropriate for kittens who are still learning to build trust with humans. Not sure if this class is right for your kitty?
