DESCRIPTION:Join us at Pasadena Humane on Saturday\, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Free Adoption Day sponsored by the Carol\, Edward\, Ariana and Joseph Wong Family Foundation! Adoption fees will be waived for all available dogs\, cats\, and critters. Adoptions include spay or neuter\, a microchip\, and age-appropriate vaccines. No appointment necessary. Regular adoption process applies. We will not be offering meet-and-greets between pets\, so please leave your family pets at home. \nResidents of Altadena\, Arcadia\, Bradbury\, Glendale\, La Cañada\, La Crescenta\, Pasadena\, Monrovia\, San Marino\, Sierra Madre and South Pasadena will need to purchase a license for dogs over 4 months at the time of adoption. Licensing fees vary by city. Bradbury also requires a pet license for cats. \nCan’t wait to adopt? From May 20 through May 24\, the adoption fee for large dogs (40 lbs. and up) is 50% off!

DESCRIPTION:Calling all puppies 16 weeks and under. Grab your guardian and join us for Puppy Manners! During this 5-week course\, our certified trainers will continue to guide you through puppyhood and help you avoid common mistakes such as chewing dad’s favorite slippers\, pulling on leash\, jumping up\, and more. They will teach your human to use positive reinforcement techniques (treats & praise!) to help you learn valuable life skills and you’re going to have such fun learning with us!‌ \n\nPuppies must be 16 weeks or younger at first class meeting\nLimit 10 pups per class\nMust have one adult pet parent present\nPuppies must be wearing a collar or harness and leash\nPlease bring at least 2 cups of very small\, soft treats\n$250 per 5-week session\nYour puppy must be free from signs of illness (coughing\, nasal discharge\, vomiting\, diarrhea) to attend classes.\nIf your puppy is exhibiting signs of illness including coughing\, you will be asked to exit the class\nYour puppy must be current on vaccines appropriate for their age including Bordetella\, Canine Distemper and Parainfluenza (DAPP)\nWe highly recommend your puppy receive the Canine Influenza Vaccine. Please check with your personal veterinarian for guidance.
