The name “Perzsi” is unusual but in a translation it is said to mean “Devoted.” Pasadena Humane’s Perzsi was brought in by her owner who said that her son had become allergic to cats. The owner explained that Perzsi is fine with kids that are generally calm. She also enjoys getting brushed and that she is very affectionate. Whether or not Perzsi is “devoted” as the name implies, it might be just that she “purrz” a lot! Coming into the shelter has confused her for the time being so it is easy to see that she simply needs time to acclimate. This means that any adopter would need to give Purzsi plenty of time to adjust to a new home. She is a young ten years old which qualifies her for our Seniors for Seniors Program.
