Micken

Micken’s foster mom reports that the name Micken is a derivative of the Japanese fighter named Mikkun. She named him this because Micken is a bit shy and hopefully he will live up to his name and be brave. The foster mom also reported that while Micken is a little shy and sensitive, he is also very sweet. He loves to be right next to you or on your lap. He will even lie on his back and beg for a belly rub. Micken also enjoys being combed. Micken’s shyness revolves around loud or sudden noises, so his best home would be one that is quiet and probably with only older kids and adults. An adopter would need to give him time to acclimate to his new surroundings and once he adjusts, he will open up to you and you will be his favorite person. Give Micken a fighting chance for a new fur-ever home with you!

Five-year-old Ivy came to us after her caretaker p Five-year-old Ivy came to us after her caretaker passed away. Ivy had a mass on her back leg that required the limb be amputated, but she's already walking great! As anyone who's had a three-legged pet knows, animals adapt very well and can run, jump, and play on three legs. We know this tripawed kitty with her beautiful emerald eyes will find her purrfect person soon!
Looking for a big puppy? Meet Milo! Milo is ten mo Looking for a big puppy? Meet Milo! Milo is ten months old and full of energy. He likes to jump when he’s excited, just like a puppy, so his ideal adopter would be someone who wants to teach him his puppy manners and give him lots of playtime. Milo already knows basic commands, so we know he’s very smart. He just needs someone to give him the attention, training, and mental stimulation a big puppy like him needs! #bigpuppy
Happy National Wildlife Day from these baby skunks Happy National Wildlife Day from these baby skunks! Last spring, our Wildlife department cared for these babies until they were old enough to go back to the wild. Even though they're adorable and the temptation to cuddle them must have been strong, our staff makes sure that all wild animals we care for have minimal interaction with people. It's important that wild animals stay wary of humans when they return to their homes.

How cute is S'Mores? S'Mores and his sister, Hazel, are two bonded bunnies who love to snuggle together. Their foster parent told us that she's even seen S'Mores and Hazel laying next to each other, totally relaxed, with their hind legs fully extended, and that might be the cutest thing we've ever heard. Swipe to see a photo of these siblings enjoying a cilantro feast!
