An online interpretation website defines the name Mia as filled with mirth (or laughter) and is dear to the heart. Mia, and her sibling, Lyka, both came to Pasadena Humane as strays. Both dogs were initially nervous and while Mia is nervous, she still approaches our volunteers right away, especially if there is a treat to be had! Volunteers report that Mia is easy to leash and walks well on leash. Also, she is probably house-trained. German Shepherd Dogs are considered to be very intelligent dogs and make good pets for German Shepherd savvy owners. Mia would probably do best in a quieter household with older kids and adults. At a young five years old, she qualifies for our Senior for Seniors Program in which if an adopter is sixty years old or more, then the adoption is totally free! Past and present members of the military also qualify for free adoptions. Volunteers report that Mia walks well on leash, does like to play, and enjoys attention. We suspect that there is a happy dog inside waiting to blossom and become dear to your heart! Make Mia yours today!
I’m available for a 30 day adoption trial through the Foster to Adopt program. If you are interested in giving me a test adoption run in your home, please sign up for an adoption consultation.
