Maya

Maya is a gorgeous 7 year old German Shepherd in the prime of her life. She is an active dog that enjoys being with people and would do best as the only dog. This makes her all the more devoted to her owner and will hand out kisses non-stop! Maya was quick to learn her commands of “sit, down, and stay.” Maya even has a “shake” command where she will shake paws with you. She does like to play with a ball and will carry it around for a while and even spend some time chewing on it. Making her most happy is when she gets to play fetch. Maya loves going for car rides. She likes people over other animals, so might be best as the only pet in the house. She appears to be housetrained and does pretty well on leash. She does love going on long walks. She also likes to cuddle. If playing fetch, getting kisses, cuddling, and going on long walks in the park appeal to you . . . then you need to fetch this dog for yourself!

I’m available for a 30 day adoption trial through the Foster to Adopt program. If you are interested in giving me a test adoption run in your home, please sign up for an adoption consultation.

We love these photos of Walter, looking dashing in We love these photos of Walter, looking dashing in a scarf, sent to us by his foster parent! Although the only way to wear a scarf in LA right now is with shorts and a t-shirt, it really does put us in the January spirit.

Eight-year-old Walter is such a sweet guy with his foster mom and the other dog in the home. He loves attention, playtime, and will follow his foster mom around the house. Although he has some anxiety (especially with loud noises), a quiet and calm home with a patient adopter would be really great for him. And don't worry, his scarf collection doesn't take up that much room. (Disclaimer: Walter does not actually have a scarf collection.)

Walter is available for a 30-day adoption trial! Bring him home with all the supplies, and in 30 days, decide if you'd like to adopt him permanently. To get started, visit pasadenahumane.org/adopt and sign up for a virtual adoption consultation.
