About this pet
Siberian Husky | 1 Year 8 Months | Male
Jack is a beautiful white Alaskan Malamute. He was brought to Pasadena Humane after his new owner was unable to gain his full trust. In general, Alaskan Malamutes is an older breed of dogs that were used for hauling things and pulling sleds. Usually, they will bond with one person and be extrememly loyal, however they are also known to be good with older kids. Jack is a dog that is still continuing to work on his polite social skills and learning that being leashed is a good things. A Malamute-savvy owner would be best for Jack as he continues to develop his manners. He is young and this means he will be very active and energetic. In addition, he will do best in a home that gives him plenty of time and attention. Are you the right person for Jack?
Update: A volunteer recently reported that it was very easy to get him to leave his kennel and that he was very gentle. After a bit of time in the play yard, it was easy to rekennel him again.
