Jack was turned over to Pasadena Humane by his owner due to landlord issues. Jack is described as a very sweet cat but doesn’t like sudden loud noises. He is friendly with adults and kids. As well, Jack is litterbox trained. A volunteer reported that Jack will nudge your hand for pets and purr loudly. Another volunteer recently reported that “I petted the blanket and he eventually stuck his head out. Purrs while being pet. Leans his head into lpetting and lifts head for more. Likes chin scratches.” A line from the poem “My Boy Jack” by Rudyard Kipling reads “. . . hold your head up all the more.” A cat who lifts his head for more petting is certainly friendly . . . all the more reason to adopt Jack!
