9/3, 10am: No new evacuations have been ordered in Glendale. Our crew is leaving Crescenta Valley High School. We will continue to accept evacuated pets at our shelter located at 361 S. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena.


4:46pm: Pasadena Humane Society staff and volunteers are currently assisting with the fire response and mandatory evacuations. We are accepting animals for temporary boarding from those areas affected by the fire. We will be open round the clock to accept those in need.

We encourage all that need to evacuate to take your pets with you. If you need help with your pet, you can bring them to Pasadena Humane 361 South Raymond Ave in Pasadena or to the temporary evacuation site at Crecenta Valley High School, 2900 Community Ave.

For animal emergencies, please contact our animal rescue and control department at 626-792-7151. Continue to check our social media pages for up-to-date information.

3:00pm: Evacuees may also bring their pets directly to the Pasadena Humane Society.

1:30pm: La Tuna Canyon Fire: We are coordinating with the City of Glendale to help fire evacuees and their animals. You can bring your animals to the evacuation center at the Glendale Civic Auditorium (1401 N. Verdugo Road) and CV High School in La Crescenta (2900 Community Ave). Animals will be transported from the evacuation center to the Pasadena Humane Society.

Evacuees may also bring their pets directly to the Pasadena Humane Society.
