- To get started contact our vehicle donation partner, Riteway Charity Services, at (888) 250-4490 or fill out the online car donation form and designate Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA as your selected charity.
- Riteway Charity Services will schedule a free pick-up (usually with 48 hours), process all the DMV paperwork and sell the vehicle at auction.
- Proceeds from your vehicle’s sale will support the programs and services at PHS. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

What are the advantages of donating my vehicle?
Your generous vehicle donation to the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law and will provide much-needed support for our life-saving programs.
Does my car have to be in running condition?
No—it does not even have to be smog-tested or registered! As long as you have the vehicle’s title and the engine of the vehicle is intact, we are happy to accept it.
Can you pick up my vehicle?
Yes! Our vehicle donation partner services the entire Southern California region and will provide free towing from any location in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. Typically pick-up can be arranged within 48 hours of your call. Evening and weekend pick-up are also available.
Do you take care of the DMV paperwork?
Absolutely! All DMV paperwork is processed on your behalf by Riteway Charity Services, even if the paperwork is incomplete, missing or expired.
Do you accept other types of vehicles besides cars?
Yes! Our program is open to trucks, motorcycles, boats, RV’s, jet skis, tractors, and even airplanes. RV’s and boats may have certain criteria.
