For those who love cats and dogs, a special weekend of films is taking place in Pasadena next month. The NY Cat Film Festival™ and The NY Dog Film Festival™ will be at the Laemmle Playhouse 7 on August 8th and 26th. The festivals celebrate our love for cats and dogs, illustrated through film. Unlike Internet video festivals, these programs are works of art, thoughtfully curated by pet wellness expert Tracie Hotchner. A portion of every ticket benefits the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA. All About Cats Donation Drive Ends

The cats are taking over the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA! As always, we aim to provide the best care for our animals. In order to ensure a healthy and comfy stay for our cats at PHS, we are asking for some specific supply donations. You can help today by going to our wishlist to see items needed for our Cat Behavior Program. Let’s remind our feline friends that the month of August is all about them.

21st Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk @ Brookside Park

Grrr-ab your leashes and your four-legged best friend! The 21st Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk steps off Sunday, September 29th at Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl. Join thousands of animal lovers and their canine companions for a fun-filled community dog walk and fundraiser. You do not need a dog to participate, all are welcome.

Our goal this year is to raise $225,000 to help provide shelter, food, veterinary care and much more to the thousands of animals–domestic, exotic, wildlife and livestock–cared for every year at the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA. 

$25 = Early Bird Registration (ends July 31st)
$35 = General Registration (August 1st to noon (12 p.m.) on September 27th)
$50 = Last Minute Registration (begins at 8 a.m. on event day, Sunday, September 29th)
Everyone who registers receives a participant bib and bandanna, while supplies last.


LA Kings Community Fundraiser @ Staples Center

Enjoy a night out with the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA (PHS) watching the LA Kings play the Arizona Coyotes.
