Group Volunteer Opportunities

Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity for a small or large group? The Pasadena Humane Society has many ways for groups to get involved. You can help us at events, create a supply drive or fundraiser, or come for a day of crafting.

Here are some upcoming and ongoing volunteer opportunities perfect for groups:

We are always in need of volunteers to help at major fundraising, adoptions and outreach events. Please consider joining us at the San Marino Motor Classic or the Wiggle Waggle Walk. Let’s work together to save lives!

Fundraising and Supply Drives

If you’re looking for more flexibility for your group, please consider creating a fundraising or supply drive. This is great way for volunteers of any age to work together to help animals.

If your group would like to help raise money for the Pasadena Humane Society or organize a supply drive, please visit our DIY Fundraising and wish list pages. For more information or for questions, please contact

We can also accommodate your group for a tour or presentation, and you can submit your request here.

Crafting Day

Calling all crafters! This is the volunteer opportunity for you! We’re always looking for ways to enrich the lives of shelter animals during their stay with us. We rely on volunteers like you to craft some home comforts for them by making cat, dog or rabbit toys and beds. You can view project instructions here. The crafting projects are fun, easy and very useful!

Volunteers must be 6 and older. There must be at least one accompanying adult for every five children under the age of 18. Groups must bring in their own basic crafting supplies. Submit a group volunteer request for a crafting day.

Have an Idea or Request?

If you have an idea for a group volunteer activity or a special request, please be sure to share it with us, and we’ll be in touch. Simply email While we will always try our best to accommodate you, we are not able to guarantee a volunteer opportunity.
