About this pet

Domestic Shorthair | 2 Years | Female

Boo Radley is an interesting protagonist in Harper Lee’s novel “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Pasadena Humane’s Boo Radley is an interesting personality as well. Boo prefers to relax on her own time and when or if she decides she wants attention, she will approach you. An adopter would want to give Boo her own personal space and plenty of time to adjust to a new environment. A Volunteer wrote: “Eventually after awhile of just talking with her, she started to give me slow blinks, so I attempted light pets with a scratcher, which she responded to very well (especially liking her cheeks and neck scratched) and actually rolled on her back to show me her belly, but also was a bit hesitant.” You ready for Boo?

When we first met this little opossum, he was cove When we first met this little opossum, he was covered in fleas - which is not only extremely uncomfortable, but can also be very harmful for such a small animal. Our wildlife staff meticulously combed out as many fleas as possible, and this little guy is now receiving flea prevention, delicious food, and all the care he needs to grow up big and strong. Once he's old enough to thrive on his own, he'll be returned to the wild.

Tofu (black) and Sasha (tortie) are two adorable f Tofu (black) and Sasha (tortie) are two adorable feline friends who were adopted from Pasadena Humane two years apart.

Their adopter, Raquel, says, "I chose Tofu because the first day we met, the volunteer opened the cage and he sat in my lap and gave me kisses. Sasha I chose during the pandemic because she reminded me of my childhood cat, Oatmeal. Sasha is a very vocal little girl who enjoys eating, playing with the wand toy and stealing socks. Tofu is a silly boy who loves to meet new people, sleep on my chest and sometimes chase his tail. They love playing together and snuggling together."

Thank you for this happy adoption update, Raquel!
