April and her sister, May, both came to Pasadena Humane as strays. April is simply a gorgeous looking German Shepherd as is her sister! Of the two dogs, April is more confident than May. While still unsure of her surroundings and being very cautious, she can be approached by a calm and loving staff member for some petting and getting treats. After that, she would seek attention from the same staff member. May looks to April for guidance and remains very shy. When she sees April stepping forward, this can help May to step forward as well. German Shepherds are considered very intelligent dogs as well as very loving. We know that April has a sweet and loving personality once she gets to know you. Volunteers have reported that she is easy to leash, very calm, and will approach you for attention. Recent volunteers have reported that she likes to bury her head in your lap and is very affectionate. Wanted: Patient and loving adopters!
