Clara and Sarah

Categories: Adoption Stories

A bouncy 3-year-old Chihuahua mix named Clara arrived to PHS on October 26th. She was a transfer from Maricopa County Shelter in Arizona. Two things we noticed right away was that she loved treats and loved sitting in laps. She was such a sweet dog that she starred in one our Animals & Friends episodes, hosted by President & CEO Julie Bank. You can watch the episode here.

She was adopted not long after by Sarah. She recently wrote to us saying, “I just wanted to thank you guys so much for helping me find my best friend! I adopted this beautiful girl about a month ago and we’re a perfect match. Gigi, formerly named Clara (my name is Sarah so I thought things could get confusing haha), is adjusting quite nicely to her new home. She loves going to the beach, hiking, chasing squirrels, and snuggling after a long day. The adoption process was awesome at the Pasadena Humane Society. Thank you so much for walking me through the process and helping me find my perfect match. I truly appreciate the patience and compassion that your staff shows to the animals and adopters. You guys do amazing work and I am so grateful!”

We are so happy that these two found their perfect match.
